Fresh from collaborating with Tyler, The Creator, Teezo Touchdown has dropped ‘Mid’. The tune is centred on a simple beat that blends chanting backing vocals with staccato chords and a clear-cut drum pattern. In the track and its accompanying light-hearted music video, he talks of ridding the streets of mid in a uniquely lovable way. A lot of the impetus behind his music comes from the devastating loss of his girlfriend to gun violence: “The week that she passed, I couldn't tell you what I was doing from hour to hour.
